Entertaining Clients In The Office Made Easy

Last Thursday I hosted five people from The Lavidge Company and showed them how easy and fun entertaining in the office can be. View my behind the scenes post and photos from last week on my blog.

I think that entertaining at the office is similar to how you'd entertain at home, except there's no kitchen! However, little things can be done here and there that will make your guests feel extra special.

These ideas are tailored to smaller company meetings, but you can apply some of my tips to bigger meetings as well. Here are some of my tips:

  • Display the food on your own trays and bowl. By removing the bags and food boxes, you can focus more on the display

  • If you're serving salad, put it in a bowl and use tongs. They're so much easier than fighting with a fork to use while passing the bowl around the table

  • Have plenty of ice on hand and a variety of drinks available

  • If you have company notepads, put them next to each person's plate and write "Welcome-We're glad you're here!" It will make your guests feel welcomed and at ease.
